Frequently Asked Questions
- Elders do not wear specific cultural/traditional dress when performing a Welcome to Country and/or Smoking Ceremony. This is reserved for our traditional dance performances.
- Please be aware we can not always offer discounts for not-for-profit organisations.
- We will bring all materials we need for any services we are booked in for. You do not need to supply a thing.
- Although we do not send run sheets through for your event, we can assist by offering the below information to help with preparation:
- A Welcome to Country can take anywhere from 5-15 minutes to complete.
- A Welcome to Country with a Smoking Ceremony can take between 5-20 minutes and requires two Cultural Practitioners / Traditional Owners to conduct.
- The Yidaki (Didgeridoo) is not a Traditional Instrument of Ngaro / Giya Country and is not offered as part of our services.
